nasce nel 1977 a Castellaneta nella Puglia assolata. Dopo la maturità classica, consegue la laurea in architettura e, a Milano, un master in event management.
Nel 2007 pubblica “Quel giorno per caso”, il suo primo romanzo. È dal 2013 nella direzione artistica del Castellaneta Film Fest, festival cinematografico di cui è cofondatore.
Subisce l’incanto dell’illustrazione proprio in seguito a curatela e allestimento delle mostre nell’ambito del contest di cui è uno degli ideatori. Alimenta la sua passione masticando Pratt e i contemporanei Somà, Mori, Bessoni, Ana Juan, Massi.
Disegno e scrittura sono il suo “boccaglio”.

EFFE (Francesco Di Dio)
was born in 1977 in Castellaneta, a town in the sunny Apulia.
After graduating at the grammar school, he gets a degree in architecture and a master in event management.
In 2007 he publishes “Quel giorno per caso “ (That day by chance), his first novel.
Since 2013 he has been cofounder of the “Castellaneta Film Fest” and part of that Film Festival art direction.
He has been charmed by graphic arts just during the setting up and organisation of theme exibitions within the context of the Film Festival he devised.
He fuels his passion watching (studying) Pratt and the contemporary Somà, Mori, Bessoni and Ana Juan. Drawing and writing are his “lifeline”.
“And they all lived happily ever after…or nearly” is his last adventure.He draws under the name of EFFE.
